Minister Ori admits: “Not all students were enrolled on October 1st”
Education, Science and Culture Minister Henry Ori recently admitted that not all of the nation’s students were enrolled as if October 1st. He explained that in the past two weeks the ministry was visited by about 480 whose children needed a spot on a school. Minister Ori expects more people to show up at the ministry and he hopes that all of the students who did not find a spot will be enrolled in a school by the end of October so that they can also attend classes. He pointed out that this is the second time that he experiences this since he came into office. “This year is a bit full of surprises. There is something wrong. Maybe the information does not reach the people optimally. These problems will be adressed. This problem is mainly in the 10th grade because that is where the children are told which course to take. The children who are advised to opt to go to a school where they can study a profession are expelled from the Mulo school. That is where things get hectic because many students want to stay at the Mulo school.
