GUYANA- Gopaul Seecharran, 20, a fisherman of Macy Dam, Rosignol Village, West Bank Berbice, was friday refused bail when he appeared in the New Amsterdam Magistrate’s Court before Magistrate Mauricia Mittelholzer on three counts of robbery under arms. It is alleged that on Sunday August 16, at Number 2 Village, West Coast Berbice, while in the company of other armed men, Seecharran robbed Neeranie Kadir of one gold finger ring valued at $40,000. He is also charged with robbing Alisha Kadir of a $10,000 gold chain. Another charge reads that he robbed Shaneeza Kadir of one gold chain and two gold bangles valued at $160,000.( kaieteurnews)…[+]
