Historian held at gunpoint, SUV hijacked
Two armed men on Monday night menacingly threatened well known historian and educator, Tota Mangar, at knife- and gun-point before escaping in his silver-grey Suzuki Escudo SUV (Sports Utility Vehicle) bearing registration PMM 6392. The incident occurred on Camp Street just as Mangar was preparing to go home after leaving a book launch at Moray House on Camp and Quamina Streets, Georgetown.
