Suriname issues travel ban to combat Ebola

SURINAME – The Health Ministry and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Buza) recently decided that travelers from West African countries that have been hit by Ebola will not be allowed to enter Suriname. “The travel ban is aimed at people who have been in Ebola areas for 21 days or shorter and who want to come to Suriname,” said Health director Martelisse Eersel.
