SURINAME – The Chinese embassy on Friday donated a beamer and projection screen to the  Chinese Corner of the  Cultureel Centrum Suriname (CCS). Chinese Ambassador Yang Zigang also presented several books on Chinese culture to Nadia Becker, chairwoman of the CCS board. “We are glad that we can make a contribution to the Chinese Corner because we want more people to learn more about China and its culture,” said the ambassador who added that people should not only think of them as merchants and storekeepers but that they  must realize that the Chinese have a rich culture and that they have so much more to offer…[+]
