SURINAME – A 15-year-old student was injured and robbed along the Calcuttastraat on Tuesday afternoon. Entrepreneur  Soesil Jankie who witnessed the robbery as he was driving by indicated that he had seen how two boys were robbing the student who was wearing a blue uniform. The perpetrators reportedly pushed the student to the ground in order to take his mobile phone. The perpetrators walked away after they had robbed the student who was injured in his arm and neck.
