SURINAME – The SuAid campaign has most likely  generated  more than SRD 150,000 so far. Chantal Cadogan, one of the workers from the   SuAid Project indicated that many big Surinamese companies have made donations to SuAid. The biggest donation was made by the  United Caribbean Contractors. The UCC reportedly donated SRD 100,000 to SuAid.  It is expected that the Salvation Army will achieve its goal of collecting SRD 250,000 thanks to the effort made by SuAid.  Cadogan pointed out that Justice and Police  Minister Edward Belfort and the chairwoman of Parliament,  Jennifer Simons, have also made a donation…[+]
