Detention of Kappalani extended with 30 days

The detention of local artist Orlando W alias Lando Kappalani has been extended with 30 days. Attorney-at-law Maureen Nibte confirmed that the examining magistrate deemed the arrest of her client  lawful. Kappalani reportedly got into a fight with another rapper over a diss track. At her client’s arraignment Nibte explained that the victim is a member of Young Ghetto Crew. This group of rappers recently went live on social media. During their live performance they evidently ridiculed and challenged Kappalani. Hen Kappalani spotted the victim, he approached him and demanded an explanation. The heated argument quickly turned violent. Kappalani claimed that the victim pulled out a knife. Passersby managed to break up the fight. But shortly afterwards both men ran into each other again. Kappalani armed himself with a stick and the victim pulled out his knife again. He then pulled out an illegal gun and chased the victim until he was spotted and arrested by members of the Military Police who were  passing by.
