PARAMARIBO – A group of armed robbers on Tuesday morning attacked the prospectors at Villa Brasil which is located in the Sipaliwini District. The gunmen fired several shots and threatened four prospectors before making off with the loot. It is not clear what was stolen exactly. It also is not clear how many criminals committed the armed robbery but witnesses claimed that there were more than 8 gunmen.
