BvL decides to end lightning strike
SURINAME – As of Wednesday things are back to normal at the nation’s high schools. Wilgo Valies, chairman of the Teachers’ Association (BvL) told Times of Suriname that the union and its members at Tuesday’s union meeting decided to end the lightning strike. The union decided to end the strike because it has placed its faith in the president who intervened in the matter after a meeting with the union on Friday.
