The Independent Commission of Investigations said it has launched an investigation into a multiple fatal shooting incident involving four civilians in Old Harbour Bay, St Catherine.

The incident occurred about 3:00 pm Tuesday. One of the four men has been identified as Jermaine O’Connor; the other three are yet to be identified. INDECOM said initial police reports are that five police officers of the Old Harbour Operation Support Team (OST) were on patrol in the area when a confrontation allegedly occurred. The police reportedly recovered three firearms in the incident.
