Police are running checks on an ex-soldier who was arrested on Monday night after he crashed the car he had earlier hijacked from a West Coast Demerara taxi driver.The ex-soldier is presently under police guard at the Georgetown Public Hospital Corporation where he is being treated for injuries he sustained as a result of the crash.Another man who was working as his accomplice managed to escape and is being sought by the police.(Kaieteur news)…[+]
