SURINAME – A vacant building located along the Pandorastraat at Maretraitte 2 burnt down on Tuesday. Residents told Times of Suriname that drug addicts often assembled in the vacant building. The Fire Department (KBS) reportedly received the call around 11:30 a.m. Olton Pinas, spokesman of the KBS, told Times of Suriname that the fire fighters from the Geyersvlijt Fire Department arrived on the scene within two minutes.
