SURINAME – The governor of the Central Bank of Suriname (CBvS), Gillmore Hoefdraad, feels insulted by a cartoon that the political parties from the V7 bloc have placed in various local newspapers. The CEO of the nation’s central bank pointed out that the cartoon is aimed at tainting the reputation of the Central Bank of Suriname and his skills as monetary expert.
