As the police continue their hunt for murder suspect Mark Reid, a postmortem has revealed that his father, Andrew Reid, was beaten and strangled. A senior police official confirmed that the postmortem showed that the 82-year-old pensioner died from manual strangulation and brain hemorrhage. His son, Mark Reid, is the prime suspect in the killing. The ex-convict has not returned to his Canvas City home since his father’s body was found last Saturday.
