SURINAME – A 27-year-old man on Monday afternoon was arrested on arson charges. After the  suspect had set his house on fire, the neighbor’s house caught fire. The houses were located along the Nagriweg in the  Wanica District. Olton Pinas, spokesman of the Fire Department Suriname (KBS), told Times of Suriname that the KBS received the call around 15:13 and that the firefighters left the station within two minutes after having received the call.
