SURINAME – SK will spent the next nine years in prison for having stabbed his wife to death with a knife. Judge Alida Johans indicated that there was strong evidence to prove that the defendant had stabbed his wife. The prosecutor had reportedly demanded that the defendant be sentenced to eighteen years in prison.  The judge pointed out that a witness had heard the suspect and the victim arguing with each other.
