The Anti Narcotics Brigade of the Police Force Suriname (KPS) recently arrested a Guyanese man in relation to the recent discovery of a marihuana field along the Larecoweg in the Nickerie District. The Guyanese man who was arrested on Sunday was in charge of keeping the field clean and also planted crops on it. The suspect told investigators that he knew nothing about the marihuana plants that were growing in the field.
