More than 200 drug ‘packets’ intercepted in prison
SURINAME – Prison guards reportedly intercepted and confiscated 214 marihuana packets this week. Paulus Pinas, deputy director of the Offender Care Department at the Ministry of Justice and Police, told Times of Suriname that this is the largest quantity of drugs that has ever been found within the prison system.
