SURINAME  – The summer vacation has started but the principal and the teachers from the Clarkeschool are worried about  the kids.. During the entire school year the government’s After School Care and Tutoring  Project (NOB) provided the kids with homework assistance and a free meal. “Most of the kids only had one meal a day and that was the meal which they got during the NOB,” said Principal Jane Ladi from the  Clarkeschool.
