A gun of a policeman was stolen after he had been hit by a car in the Sitalweg on Sunday. The policeman who sustained serious injuries was rushed to the Emergency Room. He was dressed in the blue police uniform and he was riding his moped in the Sitalweg when a car that came from the opposite direction hit him. It is believed that the car suddenly switched to his side of the road. The driver of the car has a valued driver’s license and was not under the influence of alcohol. The policeman lost his gun after the traffic accident. Only several bullets and a pair of handcuffs were recovered from the scene of the accident.
