PARAMARIBO – The Public Prosecutor’s Office recently demanded that Sharon Z. be sentenced to 6 years in prison. Sharon Z. is suspected of embezzling money from the Hakrinbank. The prosecutor also demanded that Sharon Z. who is not in jail be detained at once. Reynaldo J. who is also a suspect in this embezzlement case risks spending the next 24 months behind bars at the state penitentiary. The bank accounts of both suspects have reportedly been frozen.
