Protests break out across the country minutes after Donald Trump is elected President

Despite the late hour, massive protests broke out across the country almost immediately after Donald Trump was elected the 45th president of the United States.

The largest protests were staged on the West Coast, where angry demonstrators chanting “not our president” and “f–k Trump” took to the streets of Berkeley, Oakland and Los Angeles.In Oakland, people burned an effigy of Trump, smashed windows and set fires in the middle of streets, KNTV-TV reported. The Oakland Tribune’s newsroom reportedly had several of its windows broken during the tumultuous protests. “When our communities are under attack, what do we do?
