Leandro G who is on trial for armed robbery claimed that he was kidnapped by several people. The police officers who had responded to a call regarding an armed robbery found him in the bushes with a gunshot wound. Bystanders who had heard the suspect moaning because of the pain notified the police. The suspect was shot during a shootout with the police. The police suspected that one of the suspects had been shot. The defendant claimed that he had asked a man to call the police because he had been kidnapped. He also claimed that his kidnappers had brought him to the house of a man who had been targeted by them. The defendant is scheduled to appear in court again in July.
