SURINAME – Staatsolie (State Oil Company) will reportedly commence with its exploration drilling in Bloc 4, a section off the coast of Saramacca and Wanica, this month. The operation will be coordinated by Paradise Oil Company, a subsidiary of  Staatsolie.  The drilling rig that will be used arrived at the first location on Saturday. The first location is 10 kilometers off the coast. The trip from Trinidad & Tobago lasted 6 days.
