The Support Recycling Foundation (Suresur) is planning to put 450 containers in strategic spots throughout Suriname this year and the year to come. In these beverage containers, which will be emptied regularly, used plastic bottles and aluminum cans can be disposed of. The plastic waste will be transported to a recycling company. For the launch of this project in Nickerie, Suresur project coordinator Glenn Ramdjan visited the district on Friday.
