Two bandits killed in shootout with Police
Some residents of Greater Georgetown breathed a sigh of relief Wednesday after two bandits were shot dead by the police in what is being described as a fierce shootout. Pioneer Lane, South Ruimveldt Park, was likened to a warzone with the sounds of rifle and small arms fire, which lasted for several minutes, and when the smoke cleared, two men lay dead. The two men who have been identified as Edgar Blackman and Sherwin James, called ‘Tupac’, both 22 years old and of Tucville, were part of a gang that had attempted to commit a robbery on the home of Paul Morrison.(Kaieteurnews.com/photo:Kaieteurnews.com)…[+]
