The leaders of the political parties that have formed the V7 bloc have decided to wait and see what the next steps will be of the president of the Republic of Suriname, Desi Bouterse.  Mahinder Ratipal from the Progressive Reform Party  (VHP) indicated that the V7 leaders on Tuesday convened to discuss the talks that were held with the president on Monday. The V7 members parties attended a second meeting with the president on Wednesday.
