PARAMARIBO – 32-year-old  K.J. alias ‘Poi Poi’ on Wednesday was tracked down and arrested in the F.O. Lashleystraat by officers from the Nieuw Nickerie police department. He was arrested on a burglary charge. Reports indicate that the suspect had broken into a private residence located in the Julianastraat. When the police arrived at the private residence, the owner explained that he rushed to his house after a friend had informed him that somebody was in his house.

 46-year-old B.G. came eye to eye with the suspect after he had opened his front door. When K.J. realized that he had been caught red-handed, he fled the scene. During the course of the investigation the police officers found out that K.J. had burglarized other private residences and that many people had pressed charges against him.
