Civilians in Beit Lahiya have nowhere to go

GAZA – There has been a clear focus from the Israeli military on the very densely populated area of Beit Lahiya within the past 24 hours. Earlier today, it targeted a five-story building, killing at least 93 Palestinians, including children. Civilians are combing through the rubble, looking for anyone who could be alive beneath the houses. Israel, just a few minutes ago, conducted a series of air strikes on three residential buildings. We know that Civil Defense workers cannot operate at full capacity due to attacks on their crews on the ground and the headquarters they have been using for transportation.

Everyone who refuses to leave Beit Lahiya will be killed in these indiscriminate attacks. People in Beit Lahiya are refusing to leave because they have nowhere else to do. Even if they try to flee to Gaza City, they might be attacked by Israeli quadcopters or drones that do not leave the skies. The Israeli army is trying to intimidate families to leave their houses and never return while they are trying to squeeze and push all civilians to Gaza City. (Aljazeera)…[+]
