SURINAME  – Staatsolie (State Oil Company) will have a new managing director as of May 1. Staatsolie issued a press release, indicating  that the contract of the current managing director,  Marc Waaldijk, will expire on that date and that he will retire. Rudolf Elias will become the new managing director.  Elias will also fill the position of  refining and marketing director.
