SURINAME – Over 232,000 voter notification cards have been handed out nationwide.  Arun Hardien, member of the Elections 2015 Management Team, pointed out that this means that about 65% of all voter notification cards have been delivered to voters. About 103,000 voters in Paramaribo have received their voter notification card. Hardien pointed out that in the Saramacca District about 85% of all voter notification cards have been delivered to voters. About 82% of the voters living in the districts Nickerie and Commewijne have also received their voter notification card.
