Charles Pahlad, former deputy chairman of the National Democratic Party (NDP), told Times of Suriname that he will  hand in his NDP membership card one of these days.  MP Pahlad explained that he will remain a legislator for the Mega Combination (MC) so that the coalition will be able to keep counting on the majority of seats in Parliament.
