PARAMARIBO – A joint team that consists of police officers and members of the navy of the National Army on Wednesday arrested two  Guyanese fishermen who were in Surinamese waters illegally. 24-year-old C.P. and 38-year-old R.M. were on a green fishing boat with two other men when their vessel was spotted around 5 a.m. The captain of the fishing boat, D.S., could neither produce the papers of the fishing boat not his fishing permit but claimed that these papers were at the house of the owner of the boat.
