Times of Suriname still stands out above the rest. IDOS recently conducted a survey to determine the level of popularity of Suriname’s daily newspapers.  About 52% of the interviewees indicated that Times of Suriname is their favorite newspaper. The other daily newspapers share the remaining 47%. IDOS conducted the survey in the districts Marowijne, Commewijne, Paramaribo, Wanica, Coronie and Nickerie fromFebruary 8 until February 22. 1,659 people who are older than 18 were interviewed. 53% of the interviewees indicated that they would buy Times of Suriname if they had just enough money to only buy one newspaper…[+]
