The taxi drivers who transport passengers on the route Albina-Paramaribo route will not move to Ondrobon. The District Commissioner of Paramaribo-North East, Jerry Miranda, explained that officials changed their minds given the fact that there are already too many taxis at that location. But one thing is certain and that is that the taxi drivers will not stay at Waterkant. The new location which is most likely close to the Wijdenboschbrug is reportedly being fixed up.
