The ABOP is currently considering taking legal action against Jennifer van Dijk-Silos, founder of the Anti Fraud Platform (AFP) in response to her claims that the ABOP resorting to putting the same candidates on two lists and filling out forms incorrectly.
It wants to force Van Dijk-Silos to rectify her accusations.
Mike Nerkust also claimed that no forms from the ABOP were signed. “We all know that it is a lie and we will not stand for it. There will be consequences,” said the ABOP which added that it was shocked by the baseless accusations that were made by Van Dijk-Silos at an emergency press conference of the AFP.The ABOP claims that Van Dijk-Silos wants to cause confusion and that she also wants to undermine the election process. “It is striking that Miss Van
Dijk-Silos presents herself as being independent while she was a minister during the NDP regime. Now she leads a platform that was founded by the NDP and other parties. This raises many serious questions about her objectivity and shows that she has a political agenda,” said the ABOP.
