UKRAINE - Ukraine’s energy company DTEK says Russia launched a “massive attack” on energy facilities in Dnipro and Odessa overnight.
The attacks inflicted damage that’s “significant” and led to power outages in both regions. “We are working hard to restore electricity for the residents,” the company said. Moscow has pummelled Ukraine’s power plants during the three-year war in an attempt to hamper the production of weapons for the military and diminish public morale. (Al Jazeera)
