Attorney wants policemen to take witness stand
Attorney-at-law Harold Belfor who represents Radjkoemar M in court wants three policemen to take the witness stand. Radjkoemar M is on trial for the murder of Manhar Hrischikesh Parmesar. If he is found guilty, he could spend the next thirty years behind bars at a state penitentiary. The defense attorney wants to question the policemen because his client claimed that he was assaulted by the police during the interrogation. The defendant claimed that he confessed to the murder because of the assault. He had previously confessed to having committed the murder with the help of Biswanand B alias Romeo. Radjkoemar M had told a policeman that he had been assaulted by Parmesar and that Parmesar also had not paid him for the work that he had done for him.
