Alwin Lonswijk and  Ilse Lino who are members of the BEP party and who both worked at the Marowijne District Commissioner’s Office were fired on Monday, January 26^th, by DC Theodurus Sondrejoe. Both people indicate that according to the letter of dismissal they were fired because “they went on stage to make statements against the ABOP during a mass rally of the V7 bloc in Stichting de Olifant on January 24 and because of new policy objectives.”…[+]
