For the first time ever 14 Chinese organizations which are members of the umbrella organization Suriname Chinese United Association (SCUA)  will assemble to celebrate Chinese New Year together on February 19. The organizations traditionally celebrated the occasion at the traditional rice tables. The organization decided to celebrate the Chinese New Year on a large scale by organizing a huge rice table event at the Chamber of Commerce and Factories (KKF).
