SURINAME – Two criminals on Monday gunned down 37-year-old  Marchano Pocorni in a bar/dancing located along the Wolframstraat in Paramaribo-North. The owner of the bar/ dancing told Times of Suriname that the shooting took place around 3:15 a.m. which is about closing time. The two shooters entered the bar/ dancing, pulled out  their guns and immediately opened fire on the victim. Pocorni who was shot in the head, hip and legs died at the scene of the crime. The owner of the bar indicated that he has security footage which shows that the victim was shot at from a very short distance.
