NICKERIE – Public Works (OW) Minister Riad Nurmohamed paid a surprise visit to the ministry’s regional office in the Nickerie District. The minister decided to visit this office in response to numerous complaints from the local community. He wanted to assess the situation at the office personally. The workers who are stationed at this office were clearly surprised to see the minister at their workplace. Minister Nurmohamed discussed certain issues with the head of the regional office, Maheswarpersad Badal, before returning to Paramaribo.
