PARAMARIBO – The parents of a man recently pressed charges against him. The man was arrested on multiple charges including assault, theft and making threats. The parents who were fed up with his behaviour, decided to go to the police after he had threatened them. The suspect had also stolen a bag and a music box that belonged to one of his friends. He was drinking beer with his friend when he stole his bag and music box. The suspect suddenly became violent and punched his friend when his he asked him about the stolen items. He allegedly stole money from his uncle too. Several people pressed charges against the suspect. The police tracked him down and arrested him. The suspect is currently in jail awaiting trial.…[+]
