A retailer who runs a store in the Guaraniatraat was robbed of one hundred thousand Surinamese dollars, a mobile phone and a DVR box last Sunday. Four robbers who were armed with guns entered the store before attacking the retailer. They pointed their guns at him and ordered him to hand over his money. The armed robbers took a large sum of money, a phone and the DVR box before thing the retailer and fleeing the scene in a getaway car. The police rushed to the scene after having received a call about an armed robbery. The investigation is ongoing. The perpetrators are still at large.
