The Suriname Spelling Bee is being held for the fourth time this year. Regional competitions are currently being held independently in the districts  Paramaribo, Wanica and Nickerie. The finalists from the districts  Nickerie and  Wanica will be invited to the finale which will be held in Paramaribo.
