The Wanica District reportedly has experienced a rise in its population making it the district with the most additional voters for the general elections of May 25, 2015. Statistics from the Central Bureau for Civic Affairs (CBB) indicate that Wanica gained more than 12,000 voters during the past couple of years. During the elections of May 2010, Wanica had about 68,000 voters which means that this district currently has about 80,000 voters.
