A woman on Tuesday told Times of Suriname that her jewels that are worth SRD 60,000 were stolen. She also claimed that SRD 1,750, € 650, three piggy banks and her bag which contained important documents were stolen. The woman who had moved into the new home with her family about a week ago had left the house around 5:30 p.m. on Sunday. She noticed the burglary after returning home around 8:35.
